I’ve been debating whether to hire a book cover design service for my upcoming release, but I’m not sure if it’s truly necessary. Some authors swear that a professionally designed cover significantly boosts sales and visibility, while others feel DIY covers or templates can be enough. How much does a book’s success really depend on its cover? Are there cases where self-made designs worked just as well? I’d love to hear experiences from authors who have tried both approaches.
